I had a fun visit with Geoff and Mavis when I was in Washington. They live in Issaquah, near Seattle. Their new puppy, Tucson, is so smart, and Geoff is doing a super job with puppy training! Mavis's sister, Karen, is here from Hong Kong to attend college. Tucson already knows how to "sit," "down," and "shake hands."
Here are two more collaborative pendants combining my lampworked glass with the metalwork and stone carving of Gail Rappa. There are pictures of some of the first ones on my May 3 blog. My very favorite one has not been photographed yet.
It's been fun to see mushrooms after all the rains. Here are a few more shots. I think the weather is supposed to be transitioning back to summer this week.
With all the afternoon rains, we've got mushrooms popping up all over. There are several different kinds. This is one of the larger ones underneath a spruce tree.
We've been having afternoon thunderstorms with rain and hail for the past two weeks...unusual weather for this time of year; lots of rainbows (the top photo has a rainbow over the top of a second rainbow); even mushrooms springing up.
